How to Use AliveCard

support • April 30, 2021

As the pandemic subsides and people are back to in-person interactions, digital, no-touch contact exchange is still necessary as fist bumps are still preferred over hand shakes, and paper business cards may be of limited use - when many end of in the trash and being environmentally friendly is the theme.

Set up your wallpaper & content

Setting up your AliveCard wallpaper and content is an essential step for making sure all of your contact information, bio, headshot, and social links are readily available for potential customers and contacts.

Practice Scans
Once your card is set up, it's time to practice scans. Ask a friend to scan your AliveCard and get used to the process of showing your phone and asking someone to scan.

Make it a Habit
Everyone is used to reaching into their pocket to get a business card, or asking for the prospect's phone number and typing it in the phone. It may take some time to get used to, but with regular practice and repetition, showing your AliveCard QR code will become second nature.

Follow Up

Finally, don't forget to follow up with any potential contacts within a few hours of meeting. A timely follow up text is a great way to ensure that you stay top of mind.
